Catalyst Thermal Oxidizer - CTO
CTO Catalytic Treatment
Organic pollutants in the exhaust gas are converted into harmless substances when the required oxidation temperature is reached. In conventional thermal oxidation, this temperature is typically very high, generally between 700 and 800°C.
Because substantial energy is required to heat the exhaust gas to such temperatures, the use of a catalyst can reduce the required reaction temperature and therefore reduce energy consumption. With newer-generation catalytic technologies, the reaction temperature can be reduced to below 200°C, providing significant potential for energy and operating cost savings.
SATTi utilizes single-atom catalyst technology that can reduce the operating temperature to below 200°C while achieving a VOC conversion efficiency of >99%, with no by-products as stated in the original performance data.
This technology provides a new energy-saving approach and represents a new generation of catalytic technology. The TOF value of the single-atom catalyst is approximately 2 to 3 times that of nanoparticle catalysts.
