Following the successful conclusion of the 2020 environmental technology exhibition in South China, IE expo Guangzhou 2021 will return to the China Import and Export Fair Complex from September 15 to 17, 2021.
IE expo Guangzhou 2020 concluded on September 18, 2020, at the China Import and Export Fair Complex. Across 30,000 square meters of exhibition space, 401 exhibitors from 16 countries and regions presented more than 10,000 environmental solutions. The exhibition welcomed 20,399 professional visitors from around the world.
The sudden outbreak of the pandemic caught the environmental industry off guard. Changes in domestic and international economic and trade conditions, together with production suspensions and other external factors, severely affected environmental businesses. Many companies encountered development challenges of varying degrees.
Jiang Gang, General Manager of Messe Muenchen Zhongmao (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., emphasized that the successful staging of IE expo Guangzhou, a flagship environmental exhibition in South China, was crucial to restoring confidence in the industry. He expressed the hope that participants could find new opportunities and solutions through the event, moving beyond the uncertainty and anxiety experienced by the industry.
As the Chinese exhibition in the global IFAT environmental technology exhibition network, IE expo China has served the environmental industry in China for 20 years. Held annually in Shanghai since 2000, it has grown into a leading environmental exhibition in Asia. In 2015, the organizers began working with the Guangdong Association of Environmental Protection Industry to establish IE expo Guangzhou. Sharing exhibitor and visitor resources with the global IFAT exhibition network, the event provides a professional platform for the rapidly developing South China environmental industry to discover new technologies and products, exchange development experience, and explore effective solutions.
The seventh IE expo Guangzhou in 2021 will focus on serving the industry through innovation and supporting its development. It will showcase technologies and equipment for water and wastewater treatment, water supply and drainage, solid waste treatment, air pollution control, site remediation, and environmental monitoring. The concurrent South China Ecological and Environmental Innovation Technology Conference will feature dozens of professional forums and activities addressing key industry topics, bringing together participants from across the industry to examine market trends and explore innovative solutions.
